Mostly 1âs â Safety
Youâre not stuck because you donât have options, but because safety usually wins when it comes to real decisions.
Even when something in your job doesnât feel right anymore, you tend to stay because it feels more stable than changing anything. So you end up choosing what feels safe in the moment, even if it doesnât feel good long-term.
Over time, this creates a pattern where you donât really move forward, even though a part of you already knows something should change.
Mostly 2âs â Clarity
Youâre not missing clarity, youâre stuck in trying to find it.
You spend a lot of time thinking, analyzing, and trying to understand what the ârightâ direction is, but the more you think, the less clear it actually feels. Instead of making a decision and learning from it, you stay in thinking mode. It feels productive, but it keeps you in the same place.
So you end up waiting for clarity, instead of creating it through action.
Mostly 3âs â External Pressure
A big part of your decisions is influenced by what other people expect from you.
Even when something doesnât feel right anymore, you tend to stay because it feels like the responsible choice. You think about how your decisions will affect others, and that often becomes more important than what actually feels right for you.
Mostly 4âs â Comfort Zone
You already know something needs to change, but you donât act on it. You think about it a lot, you feel it clearly, and you might even plan changes in your head. But when it comes to actually doing something, you end up staying where you are.
So you stay in this in-between space: knowing, but not moving.
